Collection of PROOFS that contains 157 imperf or perf proofs starting with the 1876 Unissued Welker's imperf proofs with one black on white laid paper (very rare, first time I have one) plus a range of shades (all different) imperf proofs on white or chalky colored paper (total 14). 1881, Scott 45 two imperf proofs in unissued color. 1882, Scott 46 imperf proof in unissued color, numbered 19. 1884, unissued design, four imperf proofs in unissued colors, ungummed. Then a superbe group of 1886 Unissued Maximo Santos design, 11 imperf proofs in laid (4), wove (4) or india paper. These were engraved by Welker and presented by the Aubriot house but not accepted. This alone are worth between $40-50 each. Two unissued 33 orientales perf proofs, 3 Pesos in different colors. Unissued red Provisional 2 Centesimos on 1 Cent blue. 1896. Three Unissued imperf proofs of President Suarez in different colors. 1898-99. Liberty issue Scott 148-149, four imperf proofs, three on chalky paper. 1877. Scott 39 imperf proof in unissued blue. 1904-05. Eros, Two imperf pairs of Scott 162. One black on chalky paper. Continues with a superbe group 1892 UNISSUED perf proofs. Full set of 13 thru the 1 Peso (all represented), printed by Kraft in Buenos Aires and presented to Uruguay goverment in 1892 but not accepted. Mint, very rare and the first time I see it complete. Continues with a further 1 Peso, top value but with a DIFFERENT DESIGN AT BOTTOM, please check that the 1 Peso at bottom tablet is HORIZONTAL, while in the previous set is CURVED. Finally, the four known imperf values in brown shade, values 5, 7, 10 & 15, also very rare. 1906. Scott 170 two imperf pairs, proofs. 1897 PEACE overprint proofs including three imperf pairs, a strip of three and a strip of four with double ovpt. 1895-99 issue. Scott 108 thru 129 group of 17 perf or imperf proofs in unissued colors. 1896 issue. Scott 131 perf & imperf proofs in unissued colors. 1900-10 issue. Scott 153 to 158, five imperf proofs in unissued colors. Finally, 20 waterlow perf proofs in unissued colors, punch holed and ovptd specimen + 30 imperf proofs some progressive, center only, etc. Condition is mixed, some toning or tone sports, AVE to F,VF. Very rare group. I will include some written references for the Welkers and other unissued items (in spanish).-
