1881-1885 including Scott 3N1, 3N1a, 3N2, 3N3a, 3N7, 3N7a, 3N9, 3N9a, 3N11, 3N13 (violet & black ovpts), 3N15, 3N22-3N26 full set, 3N23a, 3N25a. Hinged mint, unused & used with choice and uncommon cancels with the usual mixed quality, AVE to VF. Nice assortment. I located the two of the 3 known copies of 1884. PERU. AREQUIPA. Scott, Yvert, Michel & SG unlisted. Bustamante 37 variety. 1 Cent WITHOUT triangle type 4 but with mall black "Franca" at top, used by oval cancel and a further copy with DOUBLE "Franca" at top & bottom, used by "Arequipa" circular cancel. Both F,VF. I could locate only one single with the "Franca" handstamp without the triangle sold some years ago for $1,000. Once in a lifetime opportunity. This issue is a provisional and have to be considered that belong to the War with Chile. A very limited quantity was handstamped and few survived. Ex-Caceres stock.
