1881. Quetzal issue. Goodman DP15D, printed on Scott 15-16 & 21-25. Proof of the green center (Quetzal bird), with red manuscript date "Aug 19/81" & full imprint on bottom margin (twice) "AMERICAN BANK NOTE COMPANY". This is the UNIQUE marginal imperf block of sixteen on thin paper. printing guide at bottom center noted. unused, no gum as issued. somewhat creased at bottom right & two stamps with minute thins. Very rare ABNCO trial proof. SHOWPIECE.
