Description
1949. UPU Anniversary issue. Scott 580-586. Full set of IMPERF PROOFS, corner marginal BLOCKS OF EIGHT with only the 5 cents being marginal. Mint never hinged. The 1 cent has a thin in upper left corner, 3 cents creased as pictures, 5 cents creased at left, 11 cents with a paper affixed on margin only, 2 cents creased as shown in scan, 4 cents creased at bottom, 18 cents creased at left and some paper adherences. This is the actual condition of the set. Largest recorded multiples. ORCHIDS. EX – Waterlow & Sons proof files.
