Description

Schirnböck designed and engraved Argentina stamps for the time period 1887-1892. The 2 cents include a black imperf proof on thin paper, and a lilac imperf proof on card. The 40 cents with a blue imperf proof on thin paper, and a sky blue imperf proof on card. All are unused no gum as issued. Then, three blocks of four of the 2 cents, the 12 cents and the 40 cents with "MUESTRA" (SPECIMEN) overprints. All mint never hinged but two stamps of the 12 cents.
